Comments I almost overlooked this, but glad I didn't. Typical beat that you find on any good tune and the pace is spot on. Has a fresh feel to things and I like the way that there is a vocal that phases in and out, very effective. There isn't an anthem as such as it's here that the hard work gets let down. You are expecting this to explode into life and it almost does, but not completely enough. I like the synth work and where the track is going it just needs more power to really get the music moving. Real promise that just falls short.

Comments Simple is a very good word to describe this tune. It really doesn't have a lot going on, but what there is sounds nice (and simple). There is a nice piano in the main chorus that really lifts the tune, but as the tune is already a tad basic (not simple) it's not as effective as it should be. I like what this tune does, but then on the other hand it kind of frustrates me. Simple is good, but there is a limit to how bare something can be; perhaps the title should have given me a clue. Have a listen and judge for yourself.

Comments Been a while since I listened to something on the Monster label, an old fave of mine. This is nice. Very crisp and fresh sound to this, a typical club sound. The melody is nice and meaningful, with all the synths nicely blended and sounding good. Does go a bit flat as I was expecting the melody to really kick off and it came to an end. What you do have works, solid sound, crisp synths and some nice vocal touches in places.

Comments I do like what this artist does, always has a nice feel and vibe. This sounds quite the norm, but you have to listen ‘under the covers' as there are some really nice noises buried away. I like the vocal (kind of) with the voices flowing in and out and once you get to the melody you are about ready for what comes. Very fresh sound, the synths really come across well and in the second part you get a much fiercer sound that is almost over powering. It's a long tune and I wish the melody had been longer, but everything aside as a tune this sounds great.

Comments A deep and bassy sound this one. The piano you get is in complete contrast to the rest of the tune and stands out quite considerably, for the right reasons I would add. I like the build-up in this one, you get that deep darkness and you can just feel under the covers it's warming up. The sporadic vocals add a nice dimension to proceedings and when the anthem kicks in you get that deep sound, but with a fresher sense of life. The pace works well enough and the overall feel and energy is OK, it's not brill; but I like the deepness. As expected you get the piano back and that finishes off the overall sound really well. Perhaps a bit on the sluggish side, but you have to listen to this to really hear what is going on.

Comments Hhhhmmm, so much promise; but alas no real substance. The first time I heard this I really liked the beat and what was going on, but the more I listen to this the less I like it. The anthem is a tad annoying to tell the truth, you do get a really good uplifting happy feel; but it lacks any real depth or passion and sounds cheesy. Shame, there are two bits to the anthem with the second half not too much different from the first. On some levels this works and it used to for me, but for some reason I have gone a tad sour on this. Decided for yourself.

Comments The vocals here sound very sampled from a Madonna track, but I can't place it. I like the beat with this one, rumbles along nicely a bit up and down which adds nicely to the feel. Things soon slowdown and you get a very different feel to things, much slower and more tempered than the opening. Things soon liven up and I was a bit disappointed. I was expecting things to be a bit quicker and a lot more use of the sample. What you get is a mellow beat with a synth that kicks out a pleasant sound. There's no real energy or drive behind it, which is perhaps why this is on the White label of Silent Shore. This is still a nice tune, but I was expecting it to go in a different direction.

Comments I have found this artist to be a bit frustrating. Churns out a high number of tunes and to be honest they can all sound a bit samey. Annoying that I continue to listen to them in the hope of finding that real gem. This is OK so not the gem I was looking for. It's a typical Pizz@dox tune, nice beat and that happy melody. Got a subtle synth throughout that sounds good and gives some consistency, but the rest is a tad ‘been here before'. On the face of it, this is a good tune so I have to accept that; but I want more from the artist. Something different to the norm, OK it might not work; but it was an attempt.

Comments I almost didn't listen to this as I thought the Original was quite poor, glad I did though. Starts with a typically solid beat, bit moody in places; but the sighing vocals floating in and out sound nice. The slowdown is what it suggests, but there is a great beat that comes in very prominently that makes things so much different. Things then start to pick up with a great synth that commences the build-up before the main anthem. This flows quite naturally into the melody, which is the beat and all the other synths you have heard. There is a really good feeling to this part, with everything working really well in harmony and although this isn't a classic club sound it does have that sense of urgency that often makes the difference. Melody is long as well; I would cut this up into 4 parts so you do get a really good feel for what the artist is doing. A very nice tune.

Comments This is a great tune with 2 very good mixes, so be prepared to be spoilt. This has that signature Damian Wasse synth at the beginning which sounds great. Good start, love the beat and synths; tease you all the way to the slowdown. Things here start to reveal themselves, although only very slowly. In some respects a bit too slowly, but things eventually get there and you are treated with a really nice sound. Oddles of passion and energy thrown into this, also has that emotional feel to it; so passion as well. It's not rocket science this tune, but it just sounds really good; very uplifting and as already stated 2 good mixes. A worthy buy.

Comments Annoyingly long build-up this one, but the melody when you get there delivers on sound in a very pleasant way. Very euphoric and very much loud, odd how a tune can sound loud? The beat is a pretty simple and I think with the build-up this doesn't help. Although a beat is a beat, this one does sound a bit short; listen and you should get my meaning. The melody is in two parts with the second half getting that extra lift and it sounds really nice. I love the melodies and the way it sucks you in and basically takes you on that mind journey. This needed to be a tad shorter as I was losing interest, but stick with it.

Comments Great start to this, lots of energy and passion; always good. The slowdown doesn't damage the start, you get a nice piano and some other synths that basically keep you interested in the tune. I have to say I did wonder where things would go, especially when you get the really strong powerful undertone. The melodies here are just fantastic and I challenge anyone not to be lifted at this point. The melody kicks in and wow, it almost brought tears to my eyes. The passion is quite unbelievable and it gets even better as you progress. This is a stunning tune; there are no other words that describe it. Pure passion, energy and emotion all rolled into one. This will make you feel happy and sad at the same time it is that emotional. Probably one of the better tunes I've heard in 2013 so far, buy this tune now.

Comments Regular readers will know I am a huge fan of this artist. I like the DJ side, but his tunes are just so good. They don't vary too much I would say, but he has a winning formula. Great beats and basslne and then all the magical synths that get overlaid. It's hear that things work, with a great dynamic range of sounds and vibes; so although you get that familiar feel it's all fresh and funky. This is no different and I like the vocals that drift in and out which give this a good all round happy feel. I feel it stops a bit too much, which is a downside and certainly towards the end it broke the tune up too much. A minor moan of an otherwise good tune.

Comments This has a really good intro. It's nothing special, the feel just works for me; it's very direct and just knocks a really good vibe. The slowdown also works very nicely, not quite the intro; but you do get plenty of passion and feeling that lead up to the main melody. This kicks in straight away and I must say it moves really well. You get the passion of the intro back with a bit more emphasis and if you close your eyes you may just get lot in what you hear. You get a nice uplift in the later part of the melody and this is really the cherry on the cake (so to say) and a really nice way to end. Good length for the melody as well, so an all-round very good tune.

Comments This is taken from the Ankara EP, not sure what that means. I have ups and downs with this tune, it's good a lot of depth; but it sometimes comes across as a bit dreary. Very dependent on your mood this one. I like the melody, nothing overly special; but moves nicely and the synths work very nicely in harmony with the rest of the track. It's got a good length as well, so you can really absorb yourself in what is going on in your ears. For now, I like this' but worth sampling beforehand.
