Comments So I know before putting this on that it's going to be heavy on the emotional tip and I wasn't wrong. From the off, really high end synths and melodies, bit too heavy for my liking and the slowdown couldn't in some parts come quick enough. It's here things go wrong, it takes a bloody age for this tune to get going; nearly 7 mins and by then you are losing interest very quickly. When the melody does kick in, I really like it. The tones are not as bad and the whole thing has a real purpose and you do get that great emotional drive, but it's too bloody long and as I've said, you are bored before you get there. A real shame.

Comments Been a while since I've heard this artist and was surprised to find him on Perfect. Having had a good listen I can see why. There is that classic Fluoro sound embedded in this tune, a sound I very much remember from back in the day. What doesn't happen this time though is the power and energy, you get the great vive; but with no momentum to the rest of the tune; it's almost flat. This is a tune that just needs to explode and you are pleading for it to happen and when it doesn't you feel let down and betrayed. The potential was there, but sadly lost.

Comments Classic cheesy trance and we all need this type of music. This is safe at every level, the vocals are ‘sweet' and the beat is totally non-offensive and all together this flows really nicely. The vocals at time go out of sync for me, but that's me being picky. This isn't long, which in many ways is good as it gets it done. I like the melody, has real passion and the synths and melodies work really well in harmony and to top it off, no overly done vocals. This needs a more hard core remix to shake things up, but what you have here is a good club tune that (almost) everyone will like.

Comments This has been released under the artist name of just Kanski, I got as Daniel Kanski. Odd tune this as it encompassed quite a few different genres. You get some real deep classical, then you get some good dance and finally trance. It's a bit jumbled up. Starts well, but the slowdown overly complicates things with far too much going on. Once the main melody kicks in things have sorted themselves out and what you have is quite palatable on the ears. It's nothing I haven't heard before, strong beat and melodies with some nice purpose. In the second half you get some undertones that up the tempo a bit, give it more passion and energy; nice touch. Does end very suddenly, not quite when I was expecting; but that's in line with the rest of the tune; a bit jumbled.

Comments This has a real happy feeling to it and the synths echo lovely during the slowdown. There is a dark undertone though which comes more to the fore during the melody. The beat pumps away and what you had during the slowdown remains, just more emphasis on some of the chords. It does have a monotonous feel to it in places, not a tune ender by all means, but you know where it's going and what you're getting. It's catchy in places and the main synth does have a good feel to it. Nice.

Comments Let this tune roll, starts OK; but gets better. This is one of them that you could quite easily turn off. The melody is pretty good, a bit quiet in places, but the main gist of things works well enough for me. This label seems to be about club trance and this would fit right in with that type of music. Slow to start, bashes you around the face in the middle and then ends. The melody is samey and it doesn't have the extra lift I like, but what you hear is good enough. I'm perhaps being a bit down on this as certainly the first time I heard, it got my attention. Try yourself and decide.

Comments Two artists I like, so hopefully a perfect storm of music. Well it starts well enough and the usual slowdown works well, I like the synth work and how it builds-up; nice. This is a long tune, so everything takes its time and that's not a bad thing. The melody moves nicely, has a real pace about it and the synth drives that well. It doesn't do a whole lot more as it progresses and if I'm honest I thought there would have been a few extra bits, especially due to the length. There aren't. Whilst this is a good solid sound, it could and should have been more at over 10 minutes long. Still a good listen though.

Comments Does this inspire me? A little. I like the beat and the way it moves through the tune and I like the overall feel of things, but there are times it all gets a bit too much; too much noise to be precise. The melody really goes for it in a large way, which on the one hand sounds superb; but on the other needs a bit of toning down so you can really hear and appreciate what is going on. Good length on the melody I would add and it really does drive a hard euphoric feeling, which depending on your mood is either going to work or not. Nice tune nonetheless.

Comments You can always rely on bora to release quality tunes and this is no exception. Has a great drumming background in this, I do like my drums and these work well. The slowdown is a tad on the long side and does chop around a bit, but you get the idea that it's one of those emotional type tunes (with good drums). It's because of the build-up that this loses it a bit as once it gets going you do get a wonderful crescendo of sound, a culmination of what you've heard to that point. It needed to be longer for the melody and then we'd have something super special as it stands it's a good tune, but needs a bit of work to make it better.

Comments Regular visitors will know I'm not a big vocal fan, but if it's done right it can make a huge difference to a tune. Stine Grove is one of a few voices I do like so I had a look at this and it ain't too bad. The vocals are nice and in the right dosage, whereas sometimes I find they go a bit mad. The tune itself is OK, I like the steady beat; but when you get to the melody I was expecting quite a bit more. You do get a nice tempo uplift in the second phase, which is the life saver for the tune; but the vocals would have helped a lot more. A bit mixed on this, but I'm feeling generous.

Comments Good to get down with some Blue Soho tunes, a big fave label of mine. That said I have mixed feelings on this, it's a mood tune. When the melody kicks in, it's real power that you get; this is hard driving trance. The vocals in the background really up the pace as well, but it needs something more than raw power. Power works, but the vocals aren't enough to take the edge of. I do love the energy of this tune and as previous it is a mood tune. If you want to drive fast, put this on; but if you're feeling a bit mellow, look elsewhere. Nice sound though.

Comments I get tunes sent to me a lot, but this was one that I listened to and liked. Good hard beat throughout which drives the tune really nicely and when you get to the melody you kind of get the beat with some added extras. There's a small piano thrown in at one point, which works well and the general feeling of the tune behind the main elements work in good harmony. It is missing a few things, whilst what you have is a good core to a tune; it needs more drama in the melody. The beat is quite a heavy one, so you need that little extra to break it up; but that's my view and people with have their own opinions. As a hard driving trance tune, I like this.

Comments Subtle and mellow this one. Nice touch using the Apollo space landing extracts, don't add a lot; but sounded good. The tune itself is quite devoid of noise, some simple synths and a beat; nothing overly complicated. Doesn't always work as you find you are able to listen more carefully, but if done right can be very powerful. The melody comes in and you don't have a lot to listen and what's there is a bit mixed. I like the piano and the way it blends with the background, but the other melody seems a tad out of tune compared to the rest. It sounds OK, but with the mellow feel a bit on the harsh side, which is a shame. I like the idea here and what you do have sounds nice, just a tad off.

Comments Bearing in mind the label, I found this to be quite a different sort of tune; quite upbeat and almost chartesque. The vocals of the woman saying she has met someone else are a bit odd, although I get it's in line with the track title. Quite heavy on the piano, so whilst not on a full emotional tip; it does breach those barriers now and then. The melody isn't anything different, you get everything bar the piano in a very odd ensemble of sound. I can't make this out, in some respects I find myself toe tapping and the other reaching for the bucket. Bit too weak for my liking.

Comments I have liked recently what these guys have been producing, so was keen to hear this offering and it hasn't changed my views on them. This isn't a big club tune, the sounds are subtle; yet clean and clear to hear. The best is sound enough and when the tune gets going you are treated to a whole load of melodies in unison with each other. It does go a bit high pitch in places, but very much under control and doesn't ruin the sound. You get a nice uplift in the second half, which makes the tune that little bit more special. The whole feel to this is happy, quite plucky and overall nice. A good EP.
