Comments This is quite a hard trance tune, with a nice touch of psy thrown in for good measure. It has an unusually subtle slowdown, with some wonderful piano melodies before getting back on the trance; sounds really good. The melody simply goes into overdrive and throws everything it has at you in a real epic trance sound. The energy driving this is awesome and the overall uplifting feeling is as equally awesome. There's a great synth that moves in and out, but you'll need to listen out for it; very nice. Just when you think you've had enough you get a guitar cut in, which marks the end of the tune which was a real shame as an extra few bars would have made this a real stunner. As it is, simply hot.

Comments I was expecting this to pay homage of tunes of 2002, which it doesn't. It does have some nice melodies and when the chorus kicks in you get a nice beat plus the melodies you have been listening to. These are accompanied by some atmospheric backgrounds, which make this a very uplifting type of tune. The second half you get a little bit of extra tempo, which lifts the tune up; not too much; but enough that it's noticeable. Alas it does end a bit premature when you're at a point of really getting into things. With this you are left feeling a bit empty, but sufficiently happy.

Comments Interesting tune this. Has a really powerful undertone which is boosted by some vocals (of sorts) that just add to the impotence of things. You then get a piano thrown into the slowdown and you get a good sense of things to come. When the melody launches you are ready for what you get; it's full on at every level and pulls on every sense of being. The pounding beat and the truly euphoric synths really get this up there and then there's the vocals that just add to the whole thing. It's a crying shame this ends so prematurely, there's a piano break late on which as part of the main melody would have been awesome; but it slowed it down. A shame as I almost had perfection.

Comments New label for me and a good start with it. The tune kicks off with a really solid beat and it sticks to this for a while, really building up the energy of the tune. This starts to come through once you hit the slowdown with some nice classic synths coming into play before it lets rip on you. Everything comes together, plus you get some extra melodies in harmony which add really nicely to the whole feel. This is a trance tune, but with a slightly dark edge; but either way the melodies sound great and this has a really uplifting feel. Just shy of a stunner, but only just.

Comments First time I heard this was coming home on a plane from India and I thought it was awesome, my opinion has waived slightly. Lots of noise early on with not a lot of direction, but I kind of get where the tune wants to go. The melody comes in and it's full on banging tune time. High synths drive the passion element and the lows drive the beat and the fact that your toes will be tapping overtime. I do like the journey this is attempting, but to be honest the power is too much and there is conflict in the sound as a result. Others are going to love this, I have gone the other way.

Comments One of the better EPs I have listened to in a long time, every tune on this is worthy of a listen and it was hard to pick a fave. The way this builds is fantastic, the urgency is there; but the diversity of synths is also there and adds so much to it. You then slowdown, but keep the plucky synths whilst it continues to build. We then launch and the tune starts to unfold in your ears, the back sound will swallow you whole while the main synths crush your sense. The wave of energy is quite amazing, the whoosh into the second half proves my point. The tune goes to a whole new level, it's like sex; you don't want it to end quite yet; but alas it does. This is an absolute must, go buy this now.

Comments The classic tune, one of the most notable of all time perhaps. Dangerous grounds remixing classics and apart from this version the rest are dreadful. This keeps all the passion of the original, but brings it more up-to-date. I remember the original first time around and this still holds all the right notes and elements of that, really good to hear again. Start is funky, with some nice synths and the undertone of the main tune; builds the passion nicely. I love the way it comes into play and you know exactly where you are and then the tunes just goes off with the whole great old sound. It's difficult to find fault with a monster classic.

Comments The legend that is Binary Finary, still doing tunes; but not many of late that I've liked; until this. This is a real pounder and has many elements of the BF of old, so big plus there. What this also has in a nice touch of what trance is now, probably coming from Dreamy; another plus. What this is missing is cohesion of the genres, whilst this has a good sound I find it a bit confusing in what it's trying to do. I like the sound and the title is perhaps apt, but there's no clear melody in the middle; the main synth is a bit overpowering throughout. All said, a nice tune of different genres.

Comments By far one of my fave artists for delivering a really smooth and powerful tune, never a dance number; but a true mellow moment. This doesn't disappoint. Beautiful tones from the beginning with that familiar sound you expect and great vocals. In fact, this is one of a few artists who can pull off good vocal tunes; appreciating the pace is a tad slower. The anticipation of the tune is what I like, you know what's coming; it's a case of when. The melody is a smooth affair, all the sounds come together really nicely, but not with the impotence of some of the other tracks. The vocals are nice and subtle, not too overpowering, just the rate dose. A really nice tune, as expected.

Comments Nice tune from Abora, been a while. This is a simple tune, with lots of good sounds and a good solid beat. It doesn't pretend to be a big club number, but it does pretend to be a big number. I like the general feeling of this, it has a real deep passion to it. The synths are on the emotional side, but they don't get too high pitched on you. The melody delivers a very crisp and fresh sound, doesn't overdo; but doesn't underdo it either. This just hits my spot, very nice.

Comments Taken from ‘The Last Strike EP', this is probably the best of an all-round good bunch. Has a really weird synth in the slowdown, makes it sound a bit Turkish. I like the way the tune gets going before the melody, simple and effective and starts to whet your appetite. Things kick back into life and the tune really ups the tempo, got a real powerful feel to things; not too much going on, but what is sounds good. The synth is a tad underwhelmed, but then in the second half it gets some help from out Turkish noise and this really adds to the depth. I like this because it has a different sound and is a bit quirky, nice EP.

Comments Long tune this so you have to bear that in mind. Starts at a real pace with some great acid come techno synths and then you get a whistle and it really starts. Great vibe, beat and feel and at this point you are right in there wondering where it's going. This does slow down a bit and goes all oriental on you, but things do start to pick up in a very nice way. I love the drums I would add. You get there and the sound explodes around you in an amazing way, it comes at you from all angles and I must say it really took me by surprise. This is euphoria at its best, the sound is relentless and the beat just keeps pounding away at your soul. The second half gets the simplest of pianos and you are in heaven, a really cool tune. It's long, but absolutely worth the listen, wonderful.

Comments It's not often I add a different mix of a tune, but for this one I made an exception. This is a great tune, now the sun is out it just hits the spot real nice. This gets going real quick with no slowdown, so just let the tune wash over you and feel its energy. This will put a big smile on your face, it's a wonderful sound. I love the undertones of the guitar and with all the melodies supporting it, it just gives a true sense of not so much euphoria, but peace. I was listening to this whilst on a plane to India, over Turkey I think and it made me feel real good. Top tune, so pleased this got a remix that really worked.

Comments I like the synths that are used in the slowdown, nice and twangy with a great vive to them. When the melody kicks in you continue to get these, with a few extra synths to keep things interesting. Whilst this is a good sounding tune, it does need a bit more in the melody. You get a different feel in the third verse which is nice, but its' when the synth kicks back in that it sounds really great. This is a simple enough sound, but really packs a surprising punch and is one that I've gone back to a few times. Nice tune.

Comments I love the way this tune starts, great vocals and the general slow feel to things. When the main synth kicks in, it's subtle to say the least; but when the beat gets going the feel to this tune is awesome. I love this artist anyway, so I am biased; but this is a quality tune. In the middle we get more vocals, which just top this off; whereas some would say it slows things down. Well, that's deliberate as is the whole point of the journey you're being taken on. I love the vocals that kick in, which lead up to a most awesome melody; in pure Solarstone style. The beats flow, the synth are smooth and silky and the need to dance just happens. A pure genius at every level.
