Comments This doesn't start brilliantly well, it's a bit monotone and dull to be honest. This continues on and off, although just before the slowdown the tune started to show some form of life. The slowdown changes the direction a bit, without the beat the tune actually sounds better. The melody starts and things are better than before, there is more meaning and purpose to the track and it has lost the dullness. It's very samey to the end, but if you want a tune that is constant then this isn't too bad. The second half gets a reboot with an extra piano, which is a nice way to end things. Not the greatest tune, but not the worse either.

Comments I love the energy in this tune. Starts with some real power and just before the slowdown you get a really nice drum break, sounds good and adds a whole different depth to proceedings. The slowdown again changes the direction of the tune, takes you down a real ambient path with some nice backgrounds that drive up a good atmospheric feeling. It does leave you wanting at this point, especially as the drum beat kicks back in. The tune gets going and slams it down your throat. Takes what you've already heard and basically goes up a gear and turns into a real hard core trancer. There is an extra lift in the second half by way of a piano break, which is nice; but I wanted and needed a bit more. Quality tune.

Comments A very pacey tune at 138 BPM, sounds a lot harder; but sounds really good. It stops quite suddenly for the slowdown, which is a bit drastic and does loose its edge a bit; but keep listening. The tune comes back to life with a really nice club feel to tings, not quite the slowdown you were listening to, but better. Things are being driven by a fairly simple melody, goes round and round and doesn't change too much, but in the context of things that's not really needed. Second part you get a piano break, which adds a nice extra dimension to the tune; but doesn't deliver a knockout punch. Good mixing tune.

Comments This starts so well, by the time you're a few minutes in this is rocking really well and you haven't even got to the melody. When the slowdown hits you are a bit annoyed as it was going so well, but on the other hand it's a breather. You get some nice euphoric synths here, draw on a tried and trusted sound with some nice atmospheric noises in the background. It does verge on the cheese side of trance a bit, a bit too epic; but hey we can't all be perfect. The tune comes back to life with that driving beat and what you had in the slowdown and it sounds really good. Lots of energy and passion, a tune that could be called anthemesque in many ways. This isn't that rare sound you've been looking for, this is that reliable sound that just works. It has a wonderfully long melody for you to get your ears round as well. Not a classic, but a very good sound.

Comments It's rare that anything on this label is bad, in fact it's never happened and this tune doesn't buck that trend. This has a great feel and the slowdown introduces an awesome synth that really helps drive the tune and keep those toes going. I like the strumming guitar behind all this and when it launches it just envelops you in sound. This is a really good sound, lots of good feelings will bubble to the surface. Lots of energy, the direction of the tune is clear and as it progresses more and more is added, all be it subtle; but it just keeps things nicely alive. Does end a bit on the short side for me, but the ethereal vocals that slip in are a great touch. Great tune.

Comments Starts well and I love the catchy synth that you hear in the slowdown. The tune doesn't actually slowdown, more goes beat less and the pace is kept up via over means. The beat comes back, the synth stays in place and the tune is building. I like the feeling you get from this, it's a simple line; but has lots of pull in what you hear and the direction the tune takes you. There are some extra noises thrown in here and there, more of a distraction to be honest; keep your ears on what is happening underneath. It ends a bit too quickly for me which is a real killer as I was expecting this to go on quite a bit more, so deffo a buzz kill.

Comments Lovely plucky synths in this one and a really nice beat underneath to keep things moving. The tune gets going and the sound you get is really really nice. The background has some faint vocals (of sorts), but it's all about the fresh sound. Those plucky synths are there, but in the second half you get an extra synth that just lifts this right up there. This sound just keeps going and you get a really good dose and it just simply works at every level. Slight hint of cheese, but hey it's all about the sound and this delivers in very large quantities.

Comments Solid start, with some deep notes and good overall sound. The slowdown will throw you off course as it's not representative of what is to come. The tune comes to life and it absolutely hits all the right notes. You have a driving beat and some cool sounds on top, plus as it progresses you get a nice piano break to liven things up. This continues for a bit and then even more sound comes into play, which continues to lift this up and to be honest what you have at this point is a beautiful tune full of great sounds. It does end a tad on the short side, but that shouldn't detract. A very nice tune.

Comments This starts well, but sound a little bit on the flat side; missing some high tones. Things are slow to get going and the slowdown, whilst not too slow; doesn't help that much. When the tune does start, it's surprisingly better than I thought; but the flatness of the sound remains. I like the idea, the purpose and direction of the sound is good and I really wanted this to succeed in a big way. The second half to the melody has some nice extra bits to change the tempo and to be honest these work. The overall sound lets this down, get beyond that and there is a good tune waiting.

Comments This is a nice summer tune, even though it might be raining outside. Good smooth running beat and some good classical sounding synths, in that they are just the out of the box sound. The tune comes to life and it does verge a bit on sadness, but I suspect that's intentional. Being a progressive tune things do build up nicely and in the melody this is very much the case with some nice melodies coming in and out of earshot. The beat stays the same throughout, but you do get a nice tempo uplift towards the end; it's subtle; but very much there. I like this, not too heavy on the senses, just right.

Comments Taken from the ‘Tree of Life' album, this is an absolute stormer. Top trance tune and one of the best you will hear this year, including others on the album. This just takes you to a really good place, a place of sound and melodies and then smashes it down your throat. There is nothing not to like here, awesome sound, great synths, superb melodies and a real feeling of euphoria. Been a while since I heard something so complete and I am glad it's on Pulsar who are really churning out some quality (again). When I did, play this at the church.

Comments Good thumping bassline in this one, verges on the heavy side; but nicely keeps it all together. Oddly, when you get to the slowdown it really does slow down, almost a different tune. When the lights come back on, you have a nice sounding trance tune. It's a very steady tune in that what you hear doesn't change too much, apart from a nice piano break. The third melody does up the stakes a bit with an extra dimension, but the beat runs out as you start to get into things. I like this because it's constant throughout, but could do with a little bit more in the melody. The ending is a bit bizarre as well ..!

Comments Vocal tune alert and from the off I didn't like them. Start far too soon and sound out of place, but bear with it. The tune slows down and the vocals continue, but start to sound more in place. Love the synth work as the tune builds up, a nice sounding plucky synth. The tune comes back to life, the bass has been beefed up and things are sounding really nice. Good sound and direction and a vibe that will have you engrossed. Oddly enough the vocals don't come back in at this point, instead you get a nice uplift in euphoric sound which adds very nicely to the melody. The vocals come back at the end, odd as I thought they'd have played a bigger part, but glad they didn't. Nice tune.

Comments This starts oddly in that it's not what I would normally listen, but give this time. The vocals in this tune actually work quite well, adding to the song rather than polluting it. The melody is a light uplifting number, with the vocals in sporadic places; which to be honest in this area aren't at all needed. Things then come back to earth and you are left with a feeling that something nice just happened. It won't be the best orgasm you've ever had, but it will be a half decent one.

Comments So this has a twangy feel to it, quite plucky with the melodies which in turn means nice and crisp. That said, it does sound a bit limp and when you get to the slowdown that limpness continues with an atmosphere that doesn't totally inspire me. It's also quite a build-up which does get better as the tune progresses. When things start it's more of a prelude of something to come and the tune now starts behaving very progressively, with some nice extra beats here and there. The sound continues along this vein, which is pleasant on the ears; but does lack that killer punch to take things to the next level. You do get an extra piano break and the length of the melody is its saving grace. Try before you buy, but good.
